ABOUT ME

Mabuhay! I'm Nicolas III R. Encinas, a fourth-year Filipino pre-service teacher pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics at Camarines Norte State College - Abaño Campus, Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines.

 

I was able to join the SEA-Teacher Project Batch 11 in partnership with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and the Universitas Halu Oleo (UHO). My participation as an exchange student enabled me to conduct my off-campus teaching internship abroad, specifically in Lazuardi Ibnu Sina Kendari, one of the private integrated schools in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Through this international teaching internship, I gained meaningful skills and experiences in teaching, cultural immersion, and English communication, as well as built resilience and adaptability, which further shaped my growth and perspectives as a future mathematics teacher.​​​​
