What does it take to be a Willow?

To be a willow is to be resilient.

Like strong winds to a willow, life is full of challenges that would test one's courage and strength. And like a willow to a strong wind, one must remain resilient to survive.

To be a willow is to be adaptive.

Like the ever-changing climate to a willow, life would place you in different conditions that would test your ability to blend in. And like a willow to the ever-changing climate, one must be adaptive to thrive.

With this resilience and adaptability, anyone can be a willow. Anyone can cross borders and survive. Anyone can flourish and thrive.

This e-portfolio blog contains my teaching observations and experiences as an exchange pre-service teacher in Indonesia for almost a month. This also contains my educational, social, and cultural observations and reflections throughout the entire program. Additionally, this blog reflects resilience despite difficulties and adaptability in a different culture, language, and educational environment.

With that, I hope to inspire you to be a willow!
